Operation Open day

The big top comes to Trelawnyd
Now it's official.......I am now boring MYSELF with news of the open day
And so in typical British style...I will blunder on about it regardless.
Yesterday I worked like a Trojan and set up most of the tents and stalls.....Most of the heavy work is now done, I just have the marathon job of pricing things up, a last minute weed of the veg beds, mucking out the pig pen and collecting the cakes.
I am working nights tonight which is unfortunate, but seeing that I cancelled last weeks day, working tonight is unavoidable.
I am going to feel like shit tomorrow!
Right need to go, my first coffee of the day is almost finished and I have cakes to bake....
Thank you all for your best wishes

  11. I'm not bored at all. Good luck with the night shift and appearing "bright-eyed and bushy tailed" tomorrow. Wishing you huge success at the event! It would be so much fun to be there (but not have to work my butt off as you've been doing)!

  12. All the tiredness will slip away when the moment begins.

You have not only organized an event but have brought a village togeter to work for a common goal.

It has been hell but you have done it! There will be things that go wrong(those are the rules) but you will sail through them with your kind heart and quick thinking.

This will be such a roaring success, they will say, each year, John did such a wonderful job, let's have him do it again.

  23. We are all excited for you and hope that everything goes well. However, remember, it is the things that don't go exactly right that make a good story.
