but I'm still not to be had for the price of a cocktail,
"(Margo Channing)
here comes the sun?
NO 21 in indignant mood
I was locking up the hens this evening, when a villager out with his dog called me over "just saw the weather forecast for Sunday" he boomed " sunny intervals!" my heart soared here's hoping
Oh damn - I've just got all emotional by putting up George Harrison's version of your title over on my blog. You were just a whipper-snapper then, when me and Cro were doing 'Art' with a capital A at art school - sniff...
We have plenty of sun and warmth here in Virginia John, and I'm sending it your way! If I lived nearby I'd even bake a cake, or do something new I just tried, cupcakes in a jar! :-)
I shall be doing a Sioux rain dance in our garden to ensure rain avoids North Wales on Sunday - hope the neighbours aren't watching as I shall be smeared in cocoa whilst wearing a buffalo hide thong!
I'm thinking Chris just wants any excuse to dance (in various states of dress and undress).... I started sending good dry! mojo your way yesterday and will keep it up! :) meggs.xx
Yes John, I have just watched the weekend forecast and it is certainly getting better - it couldn't get any worse here as we have had an inch of rain today!
fingers crossed

ReplyDeleteYes, I immediately sprang into song when I saw your post title!

ReplyDeleteThinking positive thoughts for you John.
ReplyDeleteTo guarantee a sunny day, just do a 'rain dance' in reverse i.e. put your knickers on back-to-front.
Have a great Sunday, John. Hope you raise lots of cash

I think it's to be pretty good this weekend... here's hoping for you... so you can wear those new lycra mini shorts you bought especially.

ReplyDeleteJohn, if there was any way that I could crate up the #$*#$% record heat here, you could have it! Tropical Rainforest here. That is NOT right.
