Westminster Cartwheel Royal Wedding - Ben Sheward?
The cartwheeling verger at the Royal Wedding did make me smile People can be as cynical as can be about the Royal Wedding but it's nice to have some nice news about for a change
What a fun clip John. Yes, I watched Charles and Diana's wedding in 1981 and today I watched their oldest son marrying a beautiful girl. Good to have something nice... Have a great weekend. Jo
Oh yes...I caught part of it. At least enough to see that beautiful dress and the royal drive through back to the palace. Thank goodness the sun came out for her.
Love the Royal Cartwheeling chap. Maybe I'm being an ignorant American, but is a cartwheeling man of the cloth standard fair at a Royal wedding? Either way, I enjoyed it.
My daughter and I stayed up all night watching the festivities! It started at 2:00 am here in Idaho and we made it to 5:00 when the brother's reading during the ceremony finally did us in. It was all SO beautiful...the bride, the bride's dress, the page boys in their dapper little uniforms, the glow in William's eye, the incredible happiness of everyone who gathered to join in the couple's happiness and wish them a lifetime full of joy and love. You're so right John! With everything that's been going on in the world lately, we all really needed that! :-) Dxxx
Yes, i smiled then laughed out loud at the cartwheeling verger. I think he embodied what many people were feeling and it was nice to see someone so exuberant. I'm sure he didn't think it would be all over the Internet!

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely right John. We need good news and that is why people all over the world were glued to their TV sets today.

I was only going to watch a bit to see what people were wearing, but I got hooked and thoroughly enjoyed it.
ReplyDeleteI watched and enjoyed every moment!
ReplyDeleteNo-one seemed to be overly drunk or embarrassing. So, not a pukka wedding; but very good TV.
ReplyDeleteIt was good to see you there John.
love the video so was that you John?
ReplyDeleteCouldn't agree with you more, John!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing pieces of your life with us. I truly enjoy reading about you, the animals and other stuff n Royals:)
