This much seen video shows just how the bravery of one old lady galvanised a group of passers into action.....funny how it was only her that took on the 6 robbers initially
Good for her....I think. You know, I might go to that length to protect a person, or an animal, but I don't know about protecting a commercial property. I just am thinking about what they could have done to her with their sledgehammers. So, the punk robbers must have a heart somewhere, don't you think?

She reminds me of a time when i was a university student studying abroad in Paris. I was on the metro, and two older English women were in the same car as i was. Two young men thought the ladies easy targets, and tried to pickpocket, succeeding to open one of the women's purses and reach for her wallet. Her friend saw immediately what was happening and gave him and his friend a wallop with her handbag. The other woman closed her handbag, after seeing that her wallet was still inside, and hit the young men with hers, too.
It seemed the metro car couldn't stop fast enough at the next station for the young men. They jumped off in a hurry, the ladies settled themselves after assuring the other that each was okay, and on we went.

hmmm..... my guess is she isn't a morning person either, and they were disturbing the peace and quiet of her first morning cuppa across the street...
