Before I post my usual love-fest Saturday video of Matt Cardle , I thought I would update everyone on little Red, the miracle quail.....He's a sweet calm little chap and a great deal bigger than he was (look on the right side bar for a pic of him as a baby)
The 6 quail will be set up in their own run on the field on Monday
Cute! A real success story.
ReplyDeleteRed has grown so fast! Appears so calm and just a good little kid! Now, are these your quail or are you raising them for someone else? I forget. Has Dan come for his crazies yet?
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
He's beautiful John. What a great job you've done raising this little fella :)

ReplyDeleteonly sexed two of the runners as yet....so a week or so longer me thinks
all the quail are staying with me too ( surprise surprise)
Ah, kids! They grow up so fast ... before you know it he'll be starting school ... :)
ReplyDeleteRed is adorable! What a good job you have done raising that tiny bird, John.
ReplyDeleteRed's my kind of bird. Those wacky runner ducks would do me in.
ReplyDeleteJohn...you are becoming as adorable as Tom!
ReplyDeleteSweet!
ReplyDeleteHe looks like a hawk. Go Red! Quail around here have the single, little, bobber feathers on their head that make them look so comical. It's amazing to look at him now and remember how close he came to being forever lost in the compost. Our little miracle baby... Good on you John.
