Operation Dog Snot Removal

Too much to do...... too little time.......
I am just about to wipe a thoughtful skid mark from the kitchen floor and a disemboweled field mouse needs shifting from it's last resting place from the kitchen top.

True to form it's raining........
more muddy footprints all over the house before our visitors arrive

Big Breaths John....Big Breaths

  1. I can see it now - by the time your guests arrive, you will be screaming at them to TAKE THEIR SHOES OFF!

  3. Would it help at all John to say it's YOU they are coming to see and not your house? (been there darling...done that...as visitor and visitee.)

  5. I say have a glass of wine, Or two! LOL...

Why do most of us do this, clean, clean, clean and get so worked up over visitors.

  6. Thanks for reminding me. I have to do cat snot removal pretty soon. In the meantime, don't worry, all will go well. Slow down, and settle down to enjoy your visitors.

  7. Enjoy! You won't have to clean for a long time now, and you have a clean house.

  8. Tee-hee.

I`m laughing with you my friend. I had muddy tracks and a half-grown dead mouse awaiting me when I came back from town, so I can understand!

  9. Big Breaths...

    Yeth, and I'm only thixteen.

I have finally managed to finish rendering the pool, its smooth finish accurately and beautifully flush with the skimmer box, the pool light housing etc.

Now Marcia has decided she wants me me to tile it instead of painting it as per her original instructions because (as she said while I was having difficulty containing myself), given all that effort so far, it would look so much nicer...

So save some Gin for me please.

A thoughtful skid mark? How nice. Mine are all so careless and inconsiderate. Is it something you can teach them?
