Hello John!! I'm catching up on your blog--I hate it when I'm gone for a few days, I miss so much of what you're up too!
ReplyDeleteWhile there's so much I'd like to say about the last 3 posts, I'll just keep it short (you're welcome) and say that I so admire you for your kindness and compassion to animals and people!
**I hope you had a Happy Anniversary!!**
Children and dogs...if they can survive each other it's such a perfect match. Ditto on pics of Leo's Halloween costume!! Can't wait to see the little munchkin.

Just caught up with your blog John, I've got a smelly dog to shampoo as well, I think she rolled in something fragrant.. also I empathize about the chicken culling, having done quite a few myself, I still hate doing it. Kathy
ReplyDeleteGreat you are all having a good time - especially leo! Yeah! what is 'eggy bread'? S'pose I could search for it but feeling lazy after a restless sleep through last nights storm!
ReplyDeleteEGGY BREAD
ReplyDeleteis what Iknow as gypsy toast
egg saoked in bread toasted!!!!
Eggy bread when I was a kid was a thick slice of white bread (crusts cut off if you are fussy) soaked in an egg beaten up with a little milk (or cream if you were lucky) and then fried in butter. It MUST be butter!
ReplyDeleteKids and dogs, they tire each other out. Excellent!
ReplyDeleteAnd I put a video of the farm on my blog for you, John:
