    John, it all depends on the category of hurricane.....5 being the strongest......if boarding up is necessary. Earl was a cat.1. We had lots of wind and a few branches down.....not bad at all.....this time.

  8. It still is beyond my comprehension and belief all these years later. What one human being can inflict on his fellow man is something I will never understand.

    In response to your comment, the last picture was taken on "Hermit Hill" which runs between the villages of Wortley and Pilley - it was the Pilley end.
