The Ghost hens improve
The power of home grown raspberries! I dropped a couple outside the battery hens' house and after a few unsure steps, five of the youngsters tottered out on shaky big feet. A small but intensely satisfying little victory
How wonderful that the hens are starting to enjoy the good life. So, you are keeping one huh? And naming is Spartacus! I just knew you would at least keep one of them. :)
Hello John!! I'm glad they're "coming out of the shells" so to speak, and that you're keeping one of them! Let us know when you name the others, just (please) don't let me know when they become your lunch! ;-)))
they do look better. Our hens adore anything soft out of the garden, and anything that moves, too. So glad to see they are doing better, and I so knew you were keeping at least one of them.
They are sure looking better, John! Have you given them names yet? ;-)
