Guilty pleasures

The chicks in the shed are going stir crazy. They are five weeks old this week, so will be coming off the heat early next week......note the third from the right...the araucana tuft is just showing
I am catching up with Hazel today. Chris has been working in London then Newcastle, so won't be home until tomorrow night, so today will be movie day!
Hazel suggested that we go and see the Tilda Swinton Italian saga I am love at the Scala, then changed her mind when she realised that the much lauded Argentinian movie The Headless Woman was playing at Theatre Clwyd.......(below pic)
so we are being reckless crazy bitches and ARE GOING TO SEE BOTH!!.

  1. And why not?, as Barry Norman might say!

I haven't seen THE HEADLESS WOMAN yet, but have heard good things about it.

I AM LOVE is superb (except for the ending, which I didn't care for). Swinton = swoon.

  5. OMG!! Two movies! Aaahhh!! Got some new chicks to hatch this week. Got a regular hybrid hen that is mated with a white silkie rooster. The hen is white, but she came from my hybrid roo and hen, both black with tan collars. I've only seen 2 chicks, as she is still sitting. I saw one white, and one black. But the black wasn't moving, so I fear it may be dead. I'm excited! I can't wait for her to get up! I think she was sitting on 15 or 16 eggs.

  8. Hi John. I figured the best way to let you know what antibiotic I have for poulty is Duramycin-10 powder to be used in the drinking water. Any suggestions as to what I can do for that wound? It is at least a week old now. Thanks.

  10. Look at your lovely chickens! :)

Thank you for visiting my blog. My parents worked in Wales for a year after they married in the early 1950s, at the Hotel Portmeirion.

Is Boris your turkey? He is most handsome!
