I am 48 in two weeks!
Am I a little too old for a celebrity crush?
Well Chris certainly thinks so.......having said that, he was highly amused when Russell Crowe flexed his pecks at the audience of Robin Hood, and I let out an involuntary sigh!
I guess that if you have a crush at 48, then the base line is that you HAVE A CRUSH....plain and simple....and there is no real harm in it
Is it a sign of immaturity? (......hummm perhaps)
Is it a sign of not being content with a partner? (nawwww)
Is it just a little daft (humm probably)
Am I bothered? ( defiantly not!)
But I do feel just a little guilty......
Not with sighing at Mr Crowe
But acknowledging that I have a secret guilty crush on Derren Brown too!
you make my wheelchair rock! Am I too old? lol
ReplyDeleteWho doesn't have harmless crushes! You will be 48? You're still a child.
ReplyDelete48 is not too old to have a crush (or two), but Russell Crowe? Really? IsnI't he a bit cad-ish? I perfer a gentleman like, say, Colin Firth. Sigh. And I'm 58.
ReplyDeleteCrushes are so superficial. It's funny. I had a crush on Keanu Reeves, and Mike's was Billy Baldwin. They have lost their pretty-boyy looks in the last few years. But I'm sure that only compels us to check the mirror. It's not like you know them personally, or ever will for that matter, eh?

I don't have "crushes" on celebrities, might call it admiration... of a firm butt, craggy good looks, strong arms, a memorable voice. I "admire" these people, oh, did I mention... firm butt?
ReplyDeleteyou old slag sharon
ReplyDeletexx
lol
I have a crush on you, John! er...and also an angora goat called Valentino! hee hee
ReplyDeleteJohn, we're about the same age, and I don't think I'm too old to have the same kind of crush on George Clooney and Tom Seleck!! Hubba, hubba!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm 48 next week & I've been besotted with Micheal Schumacher for ever! You can keep Crowe.....Thanks for your comment, as usual I laughed out loud! xxx
ReplyDeleteFunny you should bring this up ... do I have a crush on a actor, no as I watch about 0 television and haven't been to a movie in over 20 yrs...no really...
ReplyDeleteI do watch food network some...anyway my point, I think everyones mind create and imagine about someone they see or such ... Personally I think its very healthy...you just keep your crushes and enjoy them! Whats in ones mind is their own...it doesn't do anyone any harm and it can be a lot of fun to boot!
Does it mean you are not happy with your partner ... heck no... and if everyone was being honest I bet their minds create, and imagine as well LOL
can't blame ya. They are both too fine for words.
ReplyDeleteAge-shmage. 48 is the new 28, didn't you know?
I am with Sharon. Firm bums is all it takes to get me to watch a football game. Or two.
Hey, if someone is eye candy and you like what you see, then what's the harm.
ReplyDeleteFor me, it's Kevin Costner. A scruffy looking Costner. Yum!
And 48 is nothing. It's just a number.
