Clover took himself off to the hedge border this morning and quietly died away from the hum drum of the field. It was sad but inevitable as he had been poorly for over a week now and even Susan's miracle cure of pasta had not got him to eat!

Clover went away so his loss wouldn't upset you. He felt your love. Sorry for your loss. Peace for all
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear that Clover didn't make it John. You've had quite a time lately with your critters. Hope you're not feeling too low.

ReplyDeleteI am really enjoying your blog. Your potbellies are beautiful.
The post, Sod's Law, had me laughing out loud! Thanks, I needed that.

So sorry to hear Clover didn't recover. Someone once said to me that unlike humans, animals only hurt you once & that's when they die. How true that is! Sending you a BIG hug x
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comments.
ReplyDeleteI am getting more pragmatic regarding hen deaths now, they care so fickle sometimes, and at least I have done everything I knew to keep the lad going.
its the way of the world sometimes
I am sorry about your Clover. It is always hard when I loose one of my animals here.
