  4. That's bigger than I thought, too -- about the size of a city I enjoyed living in for a number of years -- not too big and not too small, with a feel of being part of or knowing all that was going on.

  5. I know parts of it well. Our eldest daughter was at Uni there and lived there for 10 years. Crookes is very familiar to me.

  12. Sheffield is not just the home town of Sean Bean - the great Judy Parfitt was also born and raised there, in a house right opposite the museum. One of our finest actors!!
