When 10 year old Mary Badham gently says “Hey Boo” she does it with all of the grace and wonder of a Meryl Streep. The line almost breaks your heart, and is my favourite scene in To Kill A Mockingbird.

ReplyDeleteI adore this movie, I watch it at least once a year. I'm always amazed how the movie follows the text of the book nearly word for word. Harper Lee was on the movie set every day and made sure Hollywood didn't screw it up. Remarkable woman. Sweet dreams John. X
