Weaver has gone missing
I’m not too sure , but I think she’s been gone at least two days if not three.
I’ve had a niggling doubt for 24 hours but with two cats that are identical in size, colour
and tail length, and one with a habit of hiding away in her own bedroom, it wasn’t easy to work out ,
but now I’m sure.
I’ve searched the surrounding streets, church and lane and have put a plea on the village
Facebook site

Oh, I hope she turns up safe and sound. One of my cats went missing for 6 days, then turned up early one morning. I think he'd been spooked by something, ran off and got lost and then finally found his way back to familiar territory. Hope that's what's happened with Weaver. xx
ReplyDeleteOh No! If she’s got stuck somewhere, she’s unlikely to cooperate with a stranger calling her, nor quickly come out of a hiding place. Poor girl, she’ll be upset. As are you … and us. XX
ReplyDeleteSo very sad to hear this. Hope she's not trapped in a shed/outbuilding without water. How has Bun been acting since Weaver's disappearance?
ReplyDeleteShe’s quiet
DeleteOh gosh they make us worry, our pets.
ReplyDeleteHas she been desexed ? Maybe a boyfriend ?I hope she comes back. Can she be microchipped?
ReplyDeleteShe’s spayed and microchipped
DeleteOh John, I know that awful feeling. I really hope she's soon home xo
ReplyDeleteYou frequently said that you hated Weaver for her behavior and when she pissed outside the litter box. Could this be fate's way of showing you what your behaviors feel like to her?
ReplyDeleteWe all knew you would have to make a comment. It must be miserable being you.
DeleteI’ve never hated her, I’ve disliked her behsviour
Deleteoh man, she better come home pronto!
ReplyDeleteI’ll say the Dear Saint Anton y prayer.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry Weaver is missing and I know that worry. Hope Weaver arrives home just hungry from being elsewhere for too long. As others have wondered, is she have a microchip?
ReplyDeleteBig hugs!
please make that "does she have a microchip?"
ReplyDeleteShe has
DeleteHorrible times when this happens. It's the not knowing part which gets under the skin, always with the fear that when and if found out, it's going to be something dreadful. We're all so much hoping it doesn't come to that.
ReplyDeleteHope she turns up soon. Sometimes cats decide they want to move away.
ReplyDeleteHope she turns up well. Worrying times for you.
ReplyDeleteHoping Weaver turns up soon. I've been in this situation & know how worrying it is x
ReplyDeleteHopefully she's off on an adventure, oblivious to anyone worrying about her.
ReplyDeleteCats! They always do their own thing - but I hope she turns up safe and sound
ReplyDeleteHope she turns up ok. Cats! Such a worry. Regards Sue H
ReplyDeleteDo hope she turns up back home again soon, John (((hugs))) I know how worrying it is when one of your cats goes AWOL. When that happened to our cat Tim, his brother Barney, unlike Bun, became very much perkier!
ReplyDeleteHoping Weaver is soon back with you. Pets do like to keep us on tenterhooks. ( )
ReplyDeleteSuch a worry. I hope she stalks in again soon, as if nothing had happened.
