    Hope they weren’t too expensive

  3. Roger is now in the dog house! Perhaps they will dry out and work again... xx

  4. They say if you drop your cellphone in the toilet, you should bury it in uncooked rice and sometimes that saves it -- might that work with your wireless headphones too? What the hell, it's worth a try.

It's hard to anticipate every possible hazard, isn't it. So sorry that your headphones were immersed. I'm with Debra: covering them in dry rice might help. Hope so!

    Hugs!

Why were they near the water bowl? So sorry. Mine have kind of fallen apart but they still work. Gigi

    1. The water bowl is under the little table in the kitchen , my fault leaving the headphones on the table

  11. Oh, Roger. I guess he doesn’t like the attention you give your phone. Subtle.

  12. Worth trying more time in the rice. It took several days for husband's mobile to dry out in rice after the dropped it into a rockpool.

  13. Leave them in the rice John, and, if it can be balanced, you could try putting the container of rice plus headphones either in your Hot Water Cupboard (if you have one) or balanced over the bathroom heater towel rail... I wore my £3,000 hearing aids in the shower and a day on the heated towel rail fixed them (Whew!)

  14. If you are replacing them, I hear that there are new ones that work on your temples rather than your ears. My son said they are superb.

  15. I have a set of inexpensive one's from Amazon that work just fine. I actually prefer wired one's. I can buy the Apple wired headphones on Amazon for less than 20. The are the best on everything except my antique IPad.

  16. Oh no! Hope you can replace them soon.

  17. Suppose it hadn't been wireless. You wouldn't want something plugged into a wall falling into water.

  18. Damn, John, that sucks! I LOVE and depend upon my wireless headphones, and I would be bereft if mine ended up in the water bowl. Had a black cat many years ago who loved to snitch things. He took my Mp3 player and attached earbuds, and dumped them right into the water bowl. Couldn't be saved and I was crushed.

  19. You'd think if they're expensive they'd be waterproof.
