This is adorable
Weaver back peed on my huge 12 inch tv last night
Just as I was warming to her, as she showed a minimal interest in the dogs daily walks with Bun she lifted her tail and piss, piss piss three urine stains infiltrated the screen just as I was watching the pot boiler Written On The Wind with a slutty nymphomaniac Dorothy Malone..
Now my tv looks strangely alien
I’ll kill that fucking cat

Who knew a stairwell could be a perfect host for such lovely music?! Thank you, John!
ReplyDeleteWishing you a delightful Sunday.
Hugs!
You too babs , it’s been a hard day
DeleteNo acoustic tweaking needed for that...lovely sounds. Beautiful singing from all
ReplyDeleteIt’s rather beautiful
DeleteI wonder how many staircases they tried before discovering that one? Perfect! xx
ReplyDeleteJust seen your update on Weaver. That cat will be the death of you! One of my neighbour's cats came in this afternoon and sprayed the wall. He got shooed out, quick smart! If he wants to spray, he can do that at home. Luckily, he's been neutered so his spray doesn't stink to high heaven, but even so...
DeleteYes at least her pee doesn’t smell
DeleteOh dear oh dear oh dear. Weaver does seem determined to lead a life of crime, doesn't she. I fear re-homing may be in her future. Perhaps to a farm somewhere as a barn cat?
ReplyDeleteshe certainly has barn cat manners ...but it did get your attentionπ
DeleteShe looked me right in the eye before she finished
Deleteππ
DeleteWtf ……..Lee πΈ
ReplyDeleteI know π
DeleteWeaver strikes again!
ReplyDeleteMaybe she would prefer living outside with access to a barn or shed for shelter.
Maybe she would like to live in Malta
DeleteDid anyone dance like Dorothy ? She won an Oscar for that movie , did you know that John?
ReplyDeleteKeith
Xx
She did indeed…l loved her as Constance mckensie in peyson place
DeleteWell that's not so nice. Hope the TV dries out.
ReplyDeleteThose bubbles keep moving very slowly
DeleteHow is that even possible?π♥️
ReplyDelete❤️
DeleteOh dear. No idea if this works, but AI Overview = Immediately turn off and unplug the TV to prevent short circuits. Wipe visible water with a soft, dry cloth. Let it dry completely for 48-72 hours in a well-ventilated, warm area. Do not turn it on while damp, as this can cause permanent damage, and avoid using heat sources like hair dryers
ReplyDeleteOh lord
DeletePerhaps the people who now own Pat's farm might like a barn cat? Full circle...
ReplyDeleteWhat next?
ReplyDeleteThat cat!
ReplyDelete[disgusted sounds]
-Kate
what a life you lead; never a dull moment - especially with a cat about/
ReplyDeleteI’m so interesting xx
DeleteCat spray not only stinks, but is also very difficult to remove. I know; I've experienced it too. Good luck; a sand-blaster might help.
ReplyDeleteThat stairwell must have provided good acoustics.
ReplyDeleteOur mostly adorable dog has weed on 2 computer keyboards, rendering them useless in spite of drying them out etc!! We have to try and remember to keep the chairs pushed right in to keep him off the table and that is not easy!
ReplyDeleteYou should try Feliway Cystease - capsules of power that you mix into wet food. Our young female cat was anxiety / stress peeing constantly and this has sorted her out entirely. She's also far more relaxed and affectionate now. Our vet was happy that it could be used long term.
ReplyDeleteMy thoughts too. She may have had a fright whilst out, overthinking and making herself feel better by reclaiming her territory.
DeleteThat’s what the vet thinks
DeleteWe had a cat, Bertie who was a bit psycho! Attacked you if you stroked him but in the garden he killed every bird he could. I rehomed him to a friend with a large country house with mice. Bertie just sat on a window sill watching the mice, never killed anything. Eventually he was rehomed with two elderly cat loving sisters who adored him
ReplyDeleteWeaver, the TV critic.
ReplyDeleteWeaver really does push her limits, doesn’t she? Was that her commentary on your choice of shows.
ReplyDeleteShe’s a critic
DeleteHave a friend who calls her female cats "bitch kitties" because they seem to have a tendency to be so ornery. Our female cats were mostly loving, although a few were stabby little things. It would be better if, when pissed, Weaver could find another way to express it. Maybe a scratching post or one of those scratching boxes. May the Force be with you, John, for that one.
ReplyDeleteHas she got a bladder infection and she needs a Vet check?
ReplyDeleteThat was my thought....we had a cat who self-reported bladder flare ups by peeing on shoes.
DeleteCeci
I thought Bagheera was awful when she was young but I would be tempted to wring Weaver's neck.
ReplyDeleteI'm always in awe of people who can sing so beautifully.

ReplyDeleteJohn there are many things i will tolerate from a cat as i adore them ... but .... not peeing in the appropriate area is the final straw for me.... I had one , named ghost, who i got as a stray kitten.... sick and needed bottle fed... and would NOT get litter box trained no matter what... One day... i left the dryer door open and he peed on my clean clothes... nope ... he found my last straw ... off he went to a new home.. Hugs! deb
ReplyDeletePeeing outside the litter tray may be stress related if there have been changes in the home, not enough litter trays (1 per cat and 1 extra), dislikes the litter textures (try Breeder Celect paper), conflict with other animals, medical (UTI/kidney disease/bladder stones or crystals, Hip/arthritis). 9nce all the aforementioned has been Vet check, it could be a behavioural quirk.
ReplyDeleteThe vet says it’s not uncommon for alpha females to reinforce territory by spotting on vertical surfaces
DeleteThat was beautiful! I loved watching the men in front gesture and keep time with their hands.
ReplyDeleteOh, don't kill the cat.
I won’t
DeleteAaaargh! Maybe Weaver was jealous that you were staring at Dorothy Malone rather than her? Still, that is not a small bit of damage. Is it permanent or will the TV heal itself once it dries or is cleaned?
ReplyDeleteDorothy is another icon
DeleteThat is called marking. Is Weaver neutered? She is asserting her dominence. I'm surprised a bit you were not the target. Are you able to salvedge the TV?
ReplyDeleteBoth are neutered
DeleteJust when we thought Weaver had become sorta civilized........
ReplyDeleteX
Deletewell, barring the fact that she *could* have a UTI, my suspicion is that she is being a total *BI%$#*....as has historically been the case up until just very recently....and just as you thought she was *coming around*.....NOT!
ReplyDeleteSusan M/ Calif.
I’ve tested the urine stains several times, no white cells, blood and nitrates , all clear
DeleteWeaver seemed to be responding well to the dog-free periods in the evening. Have you continued those sessions with Bun & Weaver? Weaver may be sensitive to your moods, and you've been tremendously stressed recently. So many possible reasons for Weaver's behavior. I'd gladly provide a home for Weaver if I lived nearby.
ReplyDeleteShe doesn’t cope well to noise
DeleteJohn, how many litter boxes do you have? You may want to try putting one upstairs and one downstairs. Also, clumping litter is more like sand and is softer on their paws than regular clay litter. If she continues, you may want to have a vet check. She may have a urinary infection. It's not normal for cats to pee like that. They prefer to dig, cover, and kick litter out of the box to have to clean up. Of course, a male cat will spray to mark his territory, but I've never seen a female act like that. Wanda aka Galestorm USA
ReplyDeleteI have two both clean and both unused , but the cats are peeing outside and have done for the past 5 months …weaver likes to pee ( very small amounts) on new objects
