I’m not a sports fan but I did enjoy Riki Miura and Rycichi Kihara’s gold medal performance in the Olympic figure skating yesterday.
Effortless.
I met a friend and we ate ice cream and gossiped in Fortes ice cream parlour in Llandudno, even though it was only 4 degrees and lit the fire early when I got home then watched Hitchcock’s Notorious

How delightful to have another nice day with friends and then home and hearth to warm up your smiling self!

That sounds like wonderful news B.A I'm happy for you 😊
DeleteSo am I xx
DeleteAfter their disappointment of the previous day, when Rycichi Kihara was fighting back the tears, it was wonderful to watch their perfect performance in the figure skating.
ReplyDeleteGlad you're continuing your pamper sessions. Ice-cream, friends and a classic film in front of the fire. Bliss! xx

DeleteIce cream on a wintry day -- perfect! Any day is a good day for ice cream.
ReplyDeleteOdd but right
DeleteThere's something about the texture of ice-cream and of eating it from a spoon, that's instantly comforting. It must be a childhood thing.
ReplyDeleteWe were two kids not 60 year old friends
DeleteI’ve watched none of the winter Olympics so far. Maybe I‘ll do some catching up. That ice cream looks so good. What flavors?
ReplyDeleteThe Japanese skater ( male) is cute and cross eyed which makes him cuter
