"I'll admit I may have seen better days,
but I'm still not to be had for the price of a cocktail,

The lisping choir is on good form today. ( I was in the audience for this one)
I took the Welsh to the beach , had avocado on toast for lunch and collected logs.
Not an exciting day, but one enlivened by a very loud cashier at Marks who bellowed across the cafe that my debit card had been rejected. ( it hadn’t, it just requested the pin as an extra security measure) but that didn’t stop the group of grey hairs ooohhhing and arrrhhhhhing in hushed tones together as I schelpped my walk of shame back to the pay desk
I only got one blob of egg and a single streak of avocado down my jumper today
I FaceTimed the German and he pointed the fact out all the way from Hintertupfingen
Oh, the shame! At least you gave all those grey hairs something to talk about. And only one blob of egg and avocado? You're improving! And still your German friend is around. I suspect he realises there's more to John Gray than just food down his front! xx
Delightful music! Ta, John!! Sounds like a nice day and hope the cashier has been told not to embarrass customers ever again. Might I suggest a napkin tucked in the neck of your shirt or sweater when you're eating at home? As you can see, we still have electricity! May that continue, please.
I sat in the house all day and watched me getting snowed in with the alltime record snowfall for one day in Toronto. 18 inches but it blew around into huge drifts. Thankfully my snow guys came at midnight and dug me out.. The snowplow has now plowed my driveway shut. Dog is not stupid, she won’t go out, too cold and too much snow. At least you had a more interesting day. Gigi
Never a dull moment in the life of JG. The best is yet to come! You could be snowed in with 24 inches of the light fluffy stuff. It is a winter wonderland, and it is still snowing.
That looks like such a great meal! You can always tell when someone loves to cook. I can't imagine how you must have felt sitting in that audience. I'm afraid i might have had to get up and dance in the aisle.
Honestly, whatever are we going to do with you? You are as messy an eater as I am, but you don't have the excuse of a bust! Why not try one of those napkin chains that have a little clip either end, so you can put the chain round your neck and clip on to a napkin? Very classy and old school, and will label you the perfect eccentric about town. Yeah, that'll do it.
You're off to a great start!
ReplyDeleteIt was nice to. Go out , but I did leave my iPad in a shopping trolley , luckily someone handed it in

My life has been terribly boring since Boxing Day , a month of staying in , feeling unwell
DeleteI love avocados but am just not sure about the concept of avocado toast.
ReplyDeleteI love it , especially with a boiled or poached egg
DeleteBloody lovely
DeleteI wear an apron most of the time at home including when eating. Saves a lot of washing and stain removal. My grandson calls it Grammy's bib.

Spanish audiences are vociferous and passionate
