Respect

This video made me pause today. A simple testament to faith in a Spanish Cathedral where parishioners pay their respects to a blood stained Madonna .

I found it incredibly moving and rather profound.

Just about to take Trendy Carol’s husband to the hospital for a check up, then it’s supervision then the pub quiz at The Crown

Heyho

  1. I am not religious at all, but I do appreciate that many people are comforted and strengthened by their faith. In some ways, I envy them for that. xx

How moving, tho I've not been raised in or joined that faith. Ta, John.
Hope Trendy Carol's husband is hale and hearty and gets a good report from his doctor. Good of you to give him a lift there and home again.
Does "supervision" mean you're seeing your clients?
You must be a whiz at the pub quiz!
All day snow for us, the 2nd in less than a week, which is odd for us in recent years.

    Hugs!

  3. It is strangely moving isn't it, although I am not particularly religious.

  4. I was raised Catholic, and though I am non practicing I've always maintained and felt a deep connection to Mary. To me, she feels less imposing than a male God. I found this video so touching and filled with grace. Thank you for sharing it. XO

  6. Oh yes, the Madonna who cries tears of blood, a variation on the Madonna who cries regular tears.
