Oh, if only Gop and the lands around it could talk. It's clear why the Neolithic people chose that high place for an important burial (yes, we watch Time Team!). Beautiful and there is sweet Trelawnyd snuggled nearby. Have a gloriously fun day and evening!
Magnificent! Taking down the trees was a brave move, but now we see the Gop in all it's glory. Very impressive. History speaks aloud. And have a lot of fun tonight! We will all be thinking of you!
We have what we call a mound here, built by the early indigenous people which looks very much like that. Well, we have quite a few but one is less than five miles from my house. They were not burial mounds though, but were built as sort of ceremonial earthwork structure. Yours are much older than ours.
