Christmas Challenge

Most of the morning has been filled with show Admin. Chasing up acts, requesting music checking details , yes herding cats.
I’ve done all what I can do so my attention has been drawn to the knotty subject of Christmas .
Now I’m working Christmas Day so practically I wanted to buy my family no fuss gifts, ones that I can get down to them easily .
And so the challenge this year is to buy gifts that will fit inside a 2x1 inch box🤪
Everyone will get the same box but each one will have something different inside.
My sister Janet, for example will get a miniature ballerina with tickets for the Royal Ballet ( Giselle) and a room booked at Z hotel in Covent Garden, I can tell you this as she already knows the contents but the further challenge is that I need to find some more things to accompany the gifts…

  1. You give fancy gifts, John. I'm much cheaper than you. ;)

I love how you gift wonderful experiences to your family and dear friend, concerts, musicals, plays and such. Those magical experiences last longer in the mind than candy or other things. Cute box, too!
With all the uncertainty here due to His Criminal Awfulness, we're having a no gift Christmas for the most part.
I worked many Christmases, too, and loved the warm and wonderful atmosphere among staff and patients.

    Hugs!

  3. You put lots of thought into gifts and the packaging. I do the same. A special box adds to the loveliness of the present. Watching someone open their special box gives me great pleasure.

  5. Such a cute presentation! And sometimes teeny-weeny gifts can be the most expensive. Remember, you're aiming for quality, not quantity!

  6. A. most thoughtful and generous gift ! Small boxes hold the best gifts possible. Delightful!
The postal situation here has put a sending damper on anything larger than an envelope- I think that I will skip it this year and just send wishes on the wind.
