Mado Kara Mieru

I’ve just finished nights so will leave you with some entertaining videos.
The AI Queen is famously doing the rounds as is my sexy Italian baker.
And the Japanese choral Mado Kara Mieru is all rather sublime doesn’t you think?
Just found out that IKEA has just opened just over the border into England , around 25 minutes from the cottage, I know where I’m going on Tuesday

IKEA! Temptation on the doorstep! NOTE BENE … I have a ‘rule’ for when I’m in places like that (book shops!) - I take a photo on my phone and go off and have a coffee BEFORE I buy anything!

  6. The choral work is beautiful, just what I need to ease myself into the day. As for that Italian baker - he can come and make me cake any day! I can't remember the last time I went to Ikea, but I do remember there was an older gentleman asking where the exit was. I think he'd been wandering round for hours! They should give you a map as you enter. xx

I have an IKIA close by and went ONCE. I got so lost and wandered for so long trying to find the exit that I was on the verge of a panic attack. I put down the couple of things that I was going to buy and fled when I finally found the exit. I never went back. Have fun there, maybe it is better now. Gigi

We shopped at IKEA quite often when we lived in Iowa. Now that we are in Georgia the drive is quite a distance to the nearest store and lots of traffic, so we no longer feel the urge. It was always fun though. Let us know what you purchase please.

    1. And is the Queen really AI or is it just an impersonator? I think it could be the latter.

    2. I think it’s a total AI creation

  14. Having IKEA so near, you'll become a regular customer. The contemporary design that they are known for is generally lovely and fits with most decor.
You can't go to IKEA without making a few purchases!

What wonderful music Mado Kara Mieru is, the baker needed English subtitles, the AI Queen was an unexpected hoot! Ta, John!
And the glorious anticipation of IKEA on Tuesday!! I haven't been in ages.
Hope you've had a good sleep today.

    Hugs!

    2. Okay, make that IKEA on Thursday. My Dad always said delayed gratification was better that instant. I was always skeptical about that!
