Il Trovatore Coro de gitanos Verdi Grupo Talía

The lisping choir and the Metropolitan Orchestra does Verdi
Quite beautifully
Storm Amy lashed the North Wales Coast and in the hospice today a handful of staff watched with the patients as the centre’s garden furniture took sail in wind and the wooden pergola shook dangerously close to destruction.
I got home just before 9 pm with the Welsh snuggled up on the kitchen reading chair and Bun and Weaver sat quietly on the kitchen tops. All together safe from the storm outside
And all welcoming me from a very long day overtime

Magnificent music, as usual!! Ta, John.
So glad you're home safe and sound and that the kids are indoors out of harm's way. Out of the way of flying lawn furniture, too!

    Hugs!

  3. Do the cats and the dogs get along now or was it perhaps because of the storm that they were all together?

    1. I think it was the storm , Trendy Carol’s husband had brought the dogs back early evening and the house must have felt very quiet to the kittens

  6. I'm sat in a caravan in Ceredigion, thankfully the winds seem to have subsided a little. Tomorrow we drive home, hoping it's all dropped off by then.

  7. No storm here, but we have had some overnight rain. I have to WALK to a favourite restaurant at lunchtime so I'm hoping it will stay dry.

  8. There's something comforting about being in a very old house that has seen out many storms.

  12. I bet they were glad to see Dad arrive home, with all the wildness outside the door. Ginger asked to be let out of my front door this morning, and was scared to be faced with three wheelie bins all blocking his way. He ran to the back door instead. :-)

I’m picturing a cozy scene, despite the storm.

A cozy scene to return to after a long day. Nothing like being tucked up indoors when a storm rages outside. Soup and toast and a roaring fire, plus the furries.
