FAIRYTALE - ALEXANDER RYBAK - TALÍA GROUP

I was in the audience for this performance …a tour de force for the violin section.
It’s optimistic and bright and mirrors today’s mood.
Yesterday I reached out to an old friend who I had fallen out with and didn’t get a rejected response .
Most things can be repaired if the willing is there x
And that’s lovely

  3. It must have been wild to be in the audience for that! And congratulations for renewing the friendship. It takes courage to reach out but it can be so worth it.

Nice that it has worked out. I fell out with my best friend when I was 14, my mum met her mum on a bus and they decided to intervene. A little while later I got a letter from my best friend. 67 years later we are going strong. I’ve always been appreciative that she reached out. Jean in Wpg.

Delightful music - thanks for it, John!
Am glad your mood is up today and especially that you got in touch with your former friend and were well received. Nothing better than a restored friendship!

    Hugs!

I must give my only friend a call today as I have not seen her for about a month. I am very bad at keeping in touch and am not a telephone type person. My bad. Good for you though. Gigi

You are so fortunate to be able to attend concerts like this! I love the energy of the conductor; she is a marvel! What fun it would be to sing or play under her direction! Thanks for sharing.
I’ve tried to reconcile with a sister so many times but sadly it never lasts. This time it seems the rift is permanent. What can you do when a person has serious issues but won’t seek help?

  13. Sometimes people drift apart and there's no glueing them back together again. That's life.

  14. I have a friend who I keep meaning to contact, we're drifting apart and that would be a shame if I let it happen. I'll drop him a line.
