How To Train Your Dragon

I’ve not seen the animated first version in full but the live action remake of How To Train Your Dragon seems at first glance , to be a faithful-to-the-original blockbuster which will please a whole new generation of kids.

The story of Hiccup (Mason Thames )-gentle natured son of a brusque Viking king, and his friendship with an adorable night fury dragon called Toothless, ( a cross between my old Albert and a wide eyed puppy / reptile) is pure Lassie Come Home Hollywood

The movie really comes alive when boy and dragon fly together, ( aided by John Powell’s soaringly impressive music ) but I suspect the animated version of fifteen years ago was much better

    Albert missed his calling!

  7. We went to see it on Monday. I was surprised to find that I thoroughly enjoyed it. Also went to see The Salt Path. It was very slow going and could have been so much better

You are spot on comparing Albert with Toothless! I miss Albert but you gave him a good home and he was beloved.

  14. Not sure I understand the video. Like why are they all wearing headphones? Why the transitions to black and white and back to color. Perhaps I'm too old. We watched another episode of Grantchester this evening. I enjoy it and "All Creatures Great and Small".

  19. I’ve been living with dementia for quite some time, and for years, I struggled to find lasting relief. Conventional treatments offered limited support, but the symptoms gradually worsened impacting my memory, focus, and daily functioning.
Out of both hope and hesitation, I decided to try an herbal treatment program from NaturePath Herbal Clinic. I’ll be honest I was skeptical at first. But around the four-month mark, I started to notice real changes.
My mental clarity began to improve. The confusion and forgetfulness became less overwhelming. I felt more present, more aware and more myself again. It wasn’t a sudden change, but it was steady and noticeable.
For the first time in years, I feel more connected to the world around me. I can engage better with loved ones, sleep more soundly, and face each day with renewed confidence.

The impact mentally, emotionally, and even physically has been truly uplifting.
If you or a loved one is exploring natural approaches for managing dementia, I sincerely encourage you to consider NaturePath Herbal Clinic. It’s been a life changing journey for me, and I’m deeply thankful I gave it a chance.
