I sat at a table overlooking sea and had lunch on my own.
It was mindful
I turned off my phone and enjoyed the service, the food and the view
And I was mindful, that my thoughts slowed down and I relaxed
We don’t have time for ourselves in this strange mad little world
Supervision is teaching me the strengths of mindfullness
Beautiful pic ! Wires crossed led to a beautiful mindful moment... I have decided my phone is a problem... and today is cold turkey off of it... I bet i find alot more time in my day... Its just too easy to sit down and scroll... Hugs! deb
ReplyDeleteA day such as this is made for solitary moments of mindfulness.
ReplyDeleteWhat a glorious view, made for mindful thinking. You would have missed that had your date gone ahead. So silver linings and all that! You'll have to double and triple check the date/time for your next meet up, though! xx
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful view, makes mindfulness easier, or it would for me at least.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely day, enjoy. I really miss the sea. We do have Lake Ontario and lots of seagulls but it is not the sea. Gigi
ReplyDeleteWhat a serene and blissful view in your photo. I think it looks a bit like looking into eternity and a good time to be mindful.
ReplyDeleteMark March 28th - Polly - on your calendar!
Hugs!
Getting lines crossed happens to us all from time to time. But the bonus is that being able to take time out of time allows a quiet time to take stock and see the world in colour. Very mindful, very restorative. And a Friday, too. Almost like a long weekend! So have a good one!
ReplyDeleteI am glad you had a lovely lunch.
ReplyDeleteI believe in quiet.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful view..
ReplyDeleteI did the same last month...and had three weeks gardening, away from city bustle, waiting for a friend to arrive. Bliss xx
It's an ill wind that blows nobody good. The mixed dates provided a lovely gift.
ReplyDeleteOh well, miscommunications happen. No ill will. Your water view is fantastic. Just think of this lunch as a prelude to the one in March.
ReplyDeleteI'm so pleased that you enjoyed lunch on your own. And now your March date is something to look forward to. Mindfulness---your willingness to grow and evolve, to change--in your 60s!---is so commendable and inspiring.
