Four little eyes shining from the dark interior of the cat carrier.
Weaver, like her namesake is curious, precise and careful.
Her younger sibling is shy and smaller and slightly incontinent
I have kept her original name of Beans as I think it suits her better
They have their own bedroom, which is locked
I will give it a good 24-48 hours before introductions are made
Oh, John!!! They are beautiful. Louise X

ReplyDeleteI’ve never got excited over puppies nor kittens
DeleteWill you go hang out with them before the intros to the dogs? I'm not a cat person so not sure what the protocols are.
ReplyDeleteCeci

DeleteWhat a great photo, John. While not a cat person, I love my daughter's cat, and it loves to bite my feet.
ReplyDeleteIt seems all is well with you, I'm glad.
I'm ok, looking into home care. Not quite ready for it, but will need it before long. Fell the other day, no real damage, but it's a precursor.
Best luck with the kittens, my friend.
We still need that beer together x
DeleteOh John, they're beautiful. x
ReplyDeleteWelcome to your new home girls, it will be a fun ride. Gigi
ReplyDeleteLove that picture of Weaver and Beans, which makes me think of weiners and beans, a popular simple comfort food. I hope future introductions go smoothly! - Jenn
ReplyDeleteDogs reaction will be entertaining, my fully grown Doberman boy was scared stiff of the kittens, no idea what they were and kept him at distance with attitude and tiny hissing 😂🤣
ReplyDeleteThey are adorable. I have two black cats. They are 13 and 14. They were rescued about 10 years ago by my partner and his former partner (that was a mouthful). He got them in the split. I'm so glad he did.
ReplyDeleteWeaver and Beans are in their forever home. They are very sweet tiny kittens.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute picture, those little eyes gleaming out! Welcome home Weaver and Beans.
ReplyDeleteI hope that Simple Roger doesn't think, "Mmm... cat food for breakfast!"
ReplyDeleteMy big dog was very scared of our kitten.
ReplyDeleteShe would charge at him when he was having a doze. She was lively wee thing who sadly got run over about a year later.
You're a good daddy! 😊
ReplyDeleteWhat fun. The Welsh will love their new buddies, I'm sure.
ReplyDeleteNew family members. Very exciting!

ReplyDeleteWishing them well - and you! Jxx
ReplyDeleteLove the names. ♥ Every house should have a black cat (we have Ruth). No idea why some people think they are bad luck; ridiculous.
ReplyDeleteMy house insists on a black dog residing - for all the 40 years I've lived here - When the previous owner - a spiritualist visited she seemed surprised and said my dog looked very much like her old dog - A black Dog is My familiar x 🐺
ReplyDeleteFor me, it’s love at first sight. I’m so glad you adopted them both. And I LOVE the name Beans!
