So blessed to have that family! And I love that wren.
They have been my constants for 61 years
You are fortunate to live close enough to your family to see them during the holiday season, I knowyou're wise enough to appreciate it, -Mary
I never used to be , I’ve spent most of my adult life 100 miles from them
Your village pub looks rather luxurious Keith Xx
It’s not my village pub , that’s tomorrow xx
You maintain close ties with your family and that is the ideal. The wren is adorable and a very nice gift.
Lovely looking festive setting. Walking dogs is a relaxed time to just enjoy some Peace and forget all the bustle.
It’s raining I. San Fransisco. More like drizzling. Hey ho
The spirit of Christmas in two photos. The wren is a Christmas bird. There used to be a tradition of village boys hunting wrens on Boxing Day.
Five people but only four dirty plates on the table! It's a Christmas mystery.
Perhaps John took his plate with him when taking the photo in case anybody pinched a bit!
I adore that wren John - please where did you buy him?
I bought my rusty robin on amazon in Canada, maybe they have wrens where you are.
Your posts are so heartwarming.
