In The Mood

A local business sponsored our Christmas Tree at the hospice which was kind. And they set it up tonight which was also kind. My sister has been busy making wreaths for the Trelawnyd Fair and I see

That the Village Christmas Tree has been erected outside the hall,
It looks cheerful enough.

The support worker I’ve been working with tonight brought me a curried Scotch egg
Which was bloody lovely.

At home tonight, my festive penguin is the centre of my decorations . I will never have a tree at home if there’s just me to see it,

  6. A sparkly gold tree..now that should lift people's spirits...as much as a Scotch egg?!

  7. Are you having a Christmas tree in your cottage? I might have suggested a dozen scotch egg baubles but Dorothy would be up that tree like a ferret up a drainpipe.

  11. That's a beautiful tree. A curried Scotch Egg sounds like a whole new level of wonderfulness for you. Perhaps a Christmas Dinner flavoured one could be experimented with, it would be handy to take on shift with you if you are working at all over the Christmas period.

Would love to try a scotch egg, but can’t find them over here. That one looked so good. Your sisters wreath is very pretty, so much talent in your family. Im not really looking forward to Christmas but go through the motions, might even get my tiny tree from the boat up from the basement, I do like the tiny fairy lights on it. I leave the decorations on it all the time and just pop it into a plastic bag after Xmas so no biggy. Gigi

    1. They are not hard to make . Buy some sausages and cut out the meat. Bind with an egg and wrap around a soft boiled egg, dip in egg again and coat in breadcrumbs
      Deep fry until just golden

Is the light in the window beside the tree a reflection? I love the look of that photo. I wish I had known about Scotch Eggs when I visited England, Scotland and Wales. Even if I could find one here in the states, I don't think it would taste the same. Jackie
