Noodles

I’m reducing myself to the old Facebook ploy of photographing my lunch.
How sad…..mind you my Thai noodles from a stall in the new Chester Market were bloody lovely, and have brightened a much dark and depressing Tuesday..
I wrote my letters and have drank coffee in the Storyhouse, this morning
And all is ok with the world
This evening I caught up with some of the members of the TCA for an impromptu catch up and haven’t laughed so much in ages

  2. On a grey, very wet January day, go with whatever makes you happy. Batteries re-charged, ready to face the world again. xx

  6. Thai noodles are delicious. Writing letters and reaching out to friends is very positive. Anticipating a reply provides food for thought and planning. Connecting post-pandemic is healthy in so many ways.

Food photos inspire us that are stuck in the same old rut of pasta and cheese sauce though. I've got a craving for Pad Thai now!

Your Thai meal looks scrumptious and we can see your delightful surroundings because of your description and photos of The Storyhouse in your recent post. You've said more than you know!
    Hope your day becomes happier.

    Hugs!

    1. Oh, and for any who are so minded, please keep my friend, Trudy, in your prayers as she's undergoing dire surgery today. Thank you.

  15. It's dark and depressing here too -- sopping wet. The noodles look yummy, though!

  16. Noodles are delicious especially when you are very hungry. Glad the letter writing was accomplished. I never write letters these days. No one to write too sadly, they've all gone.

  18. Thai noodles, yum! Do you write real snail mail letters or just long emails? I rec'd a real paper letter last week and have been carrying it around like a talisman, a treasure. It is grey and perhaps gloomy here, but still and windless--a good day. I hope Bluebell is ok?

  19. We listened to a wonderfully lively folk band there. A little girl walked right up to the band and danced her little heart out. We also ate Thai food. It was a lovely night.
