And who is flid? Another version of yourself in your fantasy land. I'm sure you won't be too busy to return here, you're well known for stalking blogs.
My name is flis - If you notice on a keyboard the d is next to the s - I didn't have my reading glasses on - Do not accuse me of stalking blogs as that is a complete lie and slander
We occasionally watch a TV programme about buying homes in the country. Inevitably the places where they search are 'Areas of outstanding natural beauty'. I'm wondering if in Britain there is anywhere that isn't.
Brief and unseasonably mild respite coming on Sun, which will be ever so welcome, followed by a return to colder though 'normal' Winter temps up to and over Xmas. Still, it'll be a mercy to have a rest from the frosty nights even for while.
That lovely feeling when it's very still and cold outside and cosy indoors! Your lights are delightful. It's so much about the lighting I think and I wish I were better at arranging mine. Beautiful scene outside too.
Wow looks very cold. But you're right, looking very toasty inside. What a picture!

ReplyDeleteA quick Google will tell you that most of the the UK is not in an AOB. The map is interesting, with some areas very under served.
DeleteLove the fact that you stated you only occasionally watch such TV programmes…as if they are chocolate biscuits. Very nice but to be rationed.
Afternoon TV is only watched if accompanied by rain or snow.
DeleteStay warm and comfy
