I’m isolating at home and isolating from the CBM
I’m a social pariah all told.
With his lovely tendency of wanting to chat, even though I’m in the next room, I’ve taken myself off for a long walk on Colwyn Bay prom , where I can utilise the WiFi and drink coffee safely alone , my face freshened in the wind.
And he can finish the tiling
At the next table there is a group of ten who are having a conversation in German .
It’s sort of learn German by chatting group , but because of the off shore wind everyone seems to be shouting and the whole thing feels like a German war film which has given me a fit of the giggles

I missed choir last night. Jamie ( RAF moustache etc) sent us all a link which features the choir on a Welsh mental health radio programme.
We don’t sound half bad…..and our piece is featured around 8 minutes in

No wonder that lady has an eyepatch - look at those boobs! They'd take anyone's eye out! Will have to look at the link tomorrow when I'm back home, poor wi-fi signal here. Best to let CBM crack on with the tiling, it'll soon be finished. xx

DeleteI came across a woman teaching a man French in a similar cafe setting. She was correcting him. A much sexier language than German (unless you're into S&M I guess). Oh my, those 50s bullet bras, they were quite something weren't they? Must have poked a few enquiring eyes out!

DeleteI just learned the virus is running through our office again, but they haven't decided to update the work from home policy because of it. So I am still going in four days a week and staying home one.

ReplyDeleteGlad you appear to be over the worst of it. I hear many people just feel tired all of the time. Bathroom nearly completed..I am excited for you..the big reveal is the bit I liked; once it is all put together, pictures up, accessories in door thrown open... TADAA!
