This is my favourite view of one of the roads into Trelawnyd
Cwm Road from the South.
My cottage is the at the end on the left
It’s heading towards dusk but is warm and peaceful
I had a date today.
Just a walk and a coffee along the prom.
There was no spark although Dorothy seemed to like him.
I thought about it all I walked up the lane towards home.
Animal helper Pat, stopped to chat .
So we laughed a bit and I forgot what I was thinking about
Nothing important
You have a lovely walk to your cottage. Maybe no spark, but at least it wasn't a "What the f**k am I doing?" moment either. The spark will come, probably from the most unexpected quarter and when you least expect it. I hope so, anyway. You deserve a special someone. xx
ReplyDeleteYes it wasn’t that terrible psoriasis date of late year lol
DeleteWhat a charming and welcoming view you have as you walk home from that direction! Bliss.
ReplyDeleteSorry there was no spark but perhaps a new friend is welcome, spark or not?
Hugs!
New friends are always welcome babs
DeleteI hope it will work out, maybe just a little more time.
ReplyDeleteIt doesn’t matter john x.
DeleteLove that belfry :) (not often I get to say that lol)
ReplyDeleteLol
DeleteNo spark, but a future friendship can be good too.
ReplyDeleteI love dusk walks...apart from the midgies!
Indeed and I’m not ruling it out
DeleteCharming view. I’ve mapped it an enjoyed it before. I’m glad Dorothy at least had a good time.
ReplyDeleteLol …
DeleteI imagine the sparkle may ignite in the future-You never can know what shall be x
ReplyDeleteFirst dates are like a roll of the dice. Very hit or miss. The road to your cottage is lovely.
ReplyDeleteYour neighborhood is so scenic, John! Looks lovely!
ReplyDeleteThis is just a test to see if I can comment on YOUR blog. Some are keeping me out.

That is probably best kind of date....it can end at any time, if needs be.
ReplyDeleteSuch a picturesque community in which you live which is part of what attracts me to your blog -- a place I'd love to visit but never will except vicariously here. Sparks don't always come with the first date, do they?
ReplyDeleteIf the pooch likes him it may be worth a second chance....dogs always know
