Crufts

I caught the very end of Crufts when I got home tonight. A flat coat retriever won with the cutest of owners.
I was looking at him more than the dog .
I’m now watching a sort of exploitative documentary into the exploitative reality Jeremy Kyle Show.
I’m lazy
Mary doesn’t watch dogs on tv , so fell asleep
Dorothy is busy with my feet

Lazy isn't the word to use when you've worked a long shift and had a long drive to and from work. Make that well deserved rest and/or relaxing.
We love to watch dog shows from the comfort of home. Wonder if we can find Crufts on You Tube?

    Hugs!

  6. I love to watch Crufts and the Westminster dog shows. Our breeds never win but are fun to watch. Norwegian Elkhounds are Clowns, Rough Collie like to think they are noble and brave, and German Spitz's are just odd balls.

    Terriers always look distinguieshed.

  12. I think the second photo shows the cutest of owners — and a champion dog.

  13. I thought that the ridiculous looking poodle ( I am sure he is a lovely dog) had won to start with as it was called out first! Was so pleased to find it was the runner up.

  14. "I was looking at him more than the dog" - a deep philosophical observation that applies to many many things.

  15. Olga shows no interest in TV either. It's funny how some animals respond to it and some don't. It looks like that winning dog is gnawing on his ribbon!

  16. I love a dog show, even though I've only ever had mutts and rescues. Mary looks absolutely content. Love that picture.

  18. It was lovely to see such a delightful dog win and I am sure he knew he had won - the way he carried the rosette round the ring in his mouth. And his owner (?) to see him so proud and in tears (me too)
