I caught the very end of Crufts when I got home tonight. A flat coat retriever won with the cutest of owners.
I was looking at him more than the dog .
I’m now watching a sort of exploitative documentary into the exploitative reality Jeremy Kyle Show.
I’m lazy
Mary doesn’t watch dogs on tv , so fell asleepDorothy is busy with my feet
Sounds like fun, I have read that walking a dog is a great way to meet friends
ReplyDeleteI've been watching Crufts-and particularly prefer Scrufts when it's on-Would he be one of those bare men that you like John?x
ReplyDeleteBear not bare lol
DeleteHmmm, I think your dog is not only the cutest but the smartest!
ReplyDeleteShe knows EXACTLY whentolove me
DeleteNothing wrong with being lazy, I've almost perfected it! Love the photo of Mary snuggled up to you. xx
ReplyDeleteLazy isn't the word to use when you've worked a long shift and had a long drive to and from work. Make that well deserved rest and/or relaxing.
ReplyDeleteWe love to watch dog shows from the comfort of home. Wonder if we can find Crufts on You Tube?
Hugs!
I love to watch Crufts and the Westminster dog shows. Our breeds never win but are fun to watch. Norwegian Elkhounds are Clowns, Rough Collie like to think they are noble and brave, and German Spitz's are just odd balls.
ReplyDeleteTerriers always look distinguieshed.
I caught the end of last nights one. A dachhund won best in show and had a shit doing her victory lap 😂
ReplyDeleteI have a dozen rosettes strewn across my sitting room wall with bunting that my dogs have won at dogs home and village fun dog shows-heinz 57,cross/mixed breeds, prettiest bitch(I usually wear my nicest wig)and most handsome which my top dog won a 1st-He was So swanky-A lady with her posh dog stormed off and would not collect her dogs 4th rosette even though the Judge called after her through the microphone x
ReplyDeleteI'm mARY.
ReplyDeleteMary looks so blissful!
ReplyDeleteWe watched part of the Flyball competition at Crufts, which was won by a team from Belgium. Wonderful seeing those dogs having so much fun.
ReplyDeleteClaire Balding has got the chin of a British bulldog. I wonder if she bites?
ReplyDeleteSweet photo of you and Mary.
ReplyDeleteI think the second photo shows the cutest of owners — and a champion dog.
ReplyDeleteI thought that the ridiculous looking poodle ( I am sure he is a lovely dog) had won to start with as it was called out first! Was so pleased to find it was the runner up.
ReplyDelete"I was looking at him more than the dog" - a deep philosophical observation that applies to many many things.
ReplyDeleteOlga shows no interest in TV either. It's funny how some animals respond to it and some don't. It looks like that winning dog is gnawing on his ribbon!
ReplyDeleteI love a dog show, even though I've only ever had mutts and rescues. Mary looks absolutely content. Love that picture.
ReplyDeleteSweet faced Mary..
ReplyDeleteIt was lovely to see such a delightful dog win and I am sure he knew he had won - the way he carried the rosette round the ring in his mouth. And his owner (?) to see him so proud and in tears (me too)
ReplyDeleteoh you dog
ReplyDeleteFlatcoats are such adorabley sweet unserious dogs.
