The wind is just strong enough to keep the butterflies off the buddleia and the thistle down from my field is blowing from west to east in bursts like snow.
The breeze is whisking away the construction noise from behind the cottage and all I can hear is the wind in the Elms and the faint contented sound of dog chewing.
I love it when you can open the house wide to let the fresh air and warmth in. And I love Albert keeping an eye on his territory, inside and out. You have a gorgeous view. xx
ReplyDeleteSooooo pretty!
ReplyDeleteLove the view. And I had no idea you could get those dog treats? I'm going to try and get some for my putative doggies.
XOXO
I love a good strong breeze. That's the best thing about this time of year -- being able to open the windows and air out the house.
ReplyDeleteWith curtains blowing
DeleteA very 1930s scene I always think
Yes!
DeleteIt sounds like heaven... I in the meantime am looking at 2 Invests and wondering if I'm going to be back in the Cone of Uncertainty come the weekend...
ReplyDeleteYes

ReplyDeleteHow nice to have the cabinets full of tasty and healthy food once again.
We await the gutter guys who have canceled twice so wonder if they'll show up today.
Hugs!
We’ve had too much rain recently so the reappearance of the sun has been most welcome x

ReplyDeleteWhere are your fabled typos when we need them? How much better would 'extra hard pig's arse' would have been.
ReplyDeleteDelete one 'would' please. Actually it would be better to give me your passwords so I can edit it myself. Trust me?
DeleteMad fucker xx
DeleteIt sounds beautiful...but I hope the thistledown is blowing away from your garden, or Albert and the dogs will not be happy next year!
ReplyDeleteIt’s blowing east
DeleteA breath of fresh air..to balance the pigs' ears!!
ReplyDeleteI love open windows, can't stand being shut in
I wish I had foil curtains , cinema homes have lots of foil curtains floating in the breeze
DeleteWhat are foil curtains? Shiny silver like aluminum foil? Maybe you mean VOILE, sheer floaty cotton?
DeleteOf course I do
DeleteA postcard shot courtesy of Albert!
ReplyDeletePig's ears? That's too simple. Our pet shop sells what are described as 'bull's pizzles.' Oddly enough, my two don't fancy them! Last week a shopper was overheard asking: " Are they what I think they are? " A glorious moment! :)
Oooo
DeleteThey really are - I used to work in a pet shop and there's very little of any animal that isn't used for dog treats. The mind boggles!
DeleteI make oatie treats daily for mine x

ReplyDeleteI love that really deep purple buddleia.
ReplyDeleteI was diagnosed as HEPATITIS B carrier in 2013 with fibrosis of the
ReplyDeleteliver already present. I started on antiviral medications which
reduced the viral load initially. After a couple of years the virus
became resistant. I started on HEPATITIS B Herbal treatment from
ULTIMATE LIFE CLINIC (www.ultimatelifeclinic.com) in March, 2020. Their
treatment totally reversed the virus. I did another blood test after
the 6 months long treatment and tested negative to the virus. Amazing
treatment! This treatment is a breakthrough for all HBV carriers.
