  1. That beautiful feline has been through too much recently. No wonder he's pissed.

  2. There is no glare quite as intimidating as a black cat's glare. But Albert is quite a beautiful animal. What gorgeous eyes!

  3. You are in serious trouble! Better stock up on his favorite treats.

  4. Yes! Extra love and extra treats. I am sure John knows just how to to make him happy. I think he is a beautiful cat.

  5. He has every right to be! I imagine he is in pain aside from the indignities suffered at the vets. He probably could use something for pain. Albert is a very special cat. Lots of love and treats might help.

  6. But he's handsome :) Black cats have a special place in my heart. I hope he feels himself again soon.

  10. Poor Albert. I have just now read of his misadventure. Poor old boy. Glad he's come through it with not much more than a bad temper.

  11. Aww....I just love Albert! I don't blame him....I'd still be pissed off too. Give him some extra pets for me!

  12. Our Billy was 'nudged' by a car when he was much smaller; he's now very wary of them.

Albert is clearly fed up with all that's happened. Hope all four of you got a restful night's sleep. It's wonderful that you're not straight back to work, too.

    Hugs!

  14. I would never have guessed!!! Seriously displeased! Poor boy, he's probably quite sore, and maybe he gets post-anaesthesia headaches... I know I do. Treat time John. Does that usually do the trick?

  15. I know that look ! Now I must read what happened.

  16. Not happy! He's a great character

  17. Those BIG eyes tell that the shock of it all hasn't left him - which is perfectly understandable.

  18. I don't blame him! He's had a lot to put up with in the past couple of days. Give him a cuddle from me (or just a stroke if a cuddle is off the cards!) xx

  19. I think so . . .
    The eyes tell it all!

  20. His fur still looks perfect...but imagine the bruises inside. Poor Albert!

  21. That is a VERY accusatory glare!

  22. I think perhaps a packet of Dreamies might cheer him up a bit . . . our cats adore them.

  23. Oh my goodness, those eyes! He is beautiful.

  24. Try playing him "Always look on the bright side of life".

  25. Ooh, that face! I wouldn’t mess with him.

  26. Tell him how much we care.

  27. That's how I look at my husband when he has annoyed me.. No wonder the poor bloke does as he is told :-)

  29. That picture should be pinned to every small child's bedroom wall with a command added below in bright yellow: "DON'T HAVE NIGHTMARES!"

  35. And so he should be, poor lad!

  36. Could have been worse! Hope he feels better soon.

  37. Poor offended Albert! Haha!

    ReplyDelete
  38. Oh dear. He sure does still look mad at you. Maybe in the future there is a pill you can pop into him before a trip to the vet.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Albert looks deeply offended. We have a cat who is similar and has the same colored eyes. Maybe it's the eyes? Our vet is afraid of Baghera, with good reason.

    Hope he's feeling better soon.
