Your work schedule is grueling. I'm not at all sure I could keep up the demands of a schedule like yours. Please scale back if you need to. Your health and well being is an important priority. I'm concerned for you.
It takes time and lots of sleep to get over the schedule you've been working for the last 10 days. I'm so glad you could have a video chat with a friend while enjoying crisps, and then listen to ABBA. Don't tell anyone, but I still like their music. Sweet dreams!
Your very understandable mood comes through this achingly beautiful song. When one feels the need to shed tears, this is one of the very best to do it with.
My daughter was about to leave for university the first time I heard this song. I teared up and held her hand so tight. She thought it was funny. I'd bring you a scotch egg and make you a cuppa if I lived nearby. I hope you can take a well earned break soon. xx
I just finished reading an article about health care workers leaving the profession. Covid and death have driven them to the brink. That is such a hard job you do, John, and you and those who care can never be paid enough.
Rest, and find something to laugh about.
