Spring

I couldn’t quite believe the blue of the sky this afternoon. The temperature and feeling around the village was springlike and after a short sleep Mary and I went out to post letters.

Today is the first day of Bridget’s foodbank and the telephone box on Well Street was filled

The younger children are back in school and their squeals at playtime made Trelawnyd come alive ago

The chapel and Christine and Bryn’s old house is up for sale.
It doesn’t look as though it was originally built in 1700.
Once a corn and wheat market hall , then later a chapel, I wonder what it’s next resurrection will be

  1. How lovely and heartwarming to see Bridget's food bank so well stocked. Well done to her and others involved. It's not often we hear of all the good that is done. And yes, blue skies and the promise of spring in the air. Fab. Viv

  2. A foodbank - that's a great idea for an old telephone box. They make good 'little free libraries' too. It is warm today. I've just taken my youngest dog for a walk across the local commons and did so in a fleece and snood - mistake. Let's hope the weather stays like this. Reading a book by the woodburner with snow outside has its moment, but it's been wet, muddy and miserable of late. Spring thankfully is just around the corner.

  3. Definitely a feeling of spring in the air today. A couple of years ago, my local council tried to rent out 2 phoneboxes in the town centre for about £300 per week, per box. No takers, unsurprisingly! Nice to hear the children playing. Just like the olden days! xx

  7. Ever since seeing "Alice's Restaurant," I've wanted to live in a converted church or chapel. This would be so cool. With an art studio and gallery. If you can guarantee skies that blue most days, I'm there.

  9. Am surprised there is still a telephone in the box. My village Parish Council “adopted” the village telephone box, BT removed the phone and there is now a Defib in there

  11. The kids there are back in school already?! I didn't realize that. Here we still have two weeks to go before students go back -- but it will be everybody at once, I think, not just the younger kids. That food bank is a great idea. Do people just come and take as needed?

  13. Still cold here with lots of snow. Very helpful food banks are springing up. In Cambridge, MA a full size fridge was put on the sidewalk next to a deli (for electricity) and anyone can add items or take what they needed. Food insecurity continues. That is a beautiful building and hopefully will be reinvented for good use in your village.

  22. It makes me so happy to hear that the young children are in school again. I recently saw a little preschool in our town with toddlers running around and nothing has made me feel more joy than seeing their delight in each others company. I will never again complain about hearing "Marco...Polo" at the community pool in summer!

  26. You can fight dropping engagement rates, no matter what the cause. It’s just a matter of taking the right kinds of actions. Here are problems you can look at, solutions for those problems, and actions you can take to boost your engagement rates once more. Before you can implement a solution, it’s generally a good idea to identify the problem. While most of the techniques I’ll discuss will apply regardless of the cause, if you did something that directly resulted in lower engagement rates, fixing it can be the fastest way to get them back. So, here are several possible causes for a dropping engagement rate. take a look on those and get rid of this issue. but whenever if you face this issue then you should contact technician team via Instagram Telefoonnummer, they are available 24/7.
