Although I can't resist 70s funky music I have for a calm house day and night classic fm playing.I hadn't heard this before John though.I love Romance by Finzi-and this always gets me in my stomach with a longing for something unknown x
It is a beautiful piece and, thankfully, you can find any genre of music you desire on YouTube! I tend to go for the oldies of the 60s, 70s and sometimes the 80s ... however, sometimes something really soothing is so nice! Thanks, John! 9
It makes me miss the days when my son was still in university (music major) and performed in many classical concerts. I enjoyed those concerts so much.
Mellow, reflective and admiring of their skill
ReplyDeleteThat is SO beautiful! Thank you for sharing John

ReplyDeleteHopeful. Spring is on its way. 'Unlocking' is on the way...
ReplyDeleteI sincerely admire their skill but it doesn't affect my heart.
ReplyDeleteLovely. I feel serene and see myself twirling calmly as I did as a child.
ReplyDeleteTa, John!
What did it make you feel?
Hugs!
It reminds me of Love Actually, which I grudgingly enjoy as a Christmas film.
ReplyDeleteGood pick Tom, I heard some relatives playing this to their dying father
DeleteIt’s a theme from the film
We are season ticket holders to our local symphony and it is the one thing I have missed most during Covid.

DeleteThat’s good
DeleteNothing much.
ReplyDeleteEmotional. This film came out during the best years of my life and I associate the music with that time.
ReplyDeleteI felt like it wasn't 'my thing'.
ReplyDeleteLight, airy, with expanding horizons, hopeful.
ReplyDeleteMissing the National Symphony at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, it has been a year now.
Sleepy.
ReplyDeleteIt was a bit to singsong for me.
ReplyDeleteSo, my torso tightens and my heart squeezes a little bit. Not happy not sad, just a welling of emotion at its loveliness.
ReplyDeleteI love this after a long day of work. Relaxing
