and it sits next to my favourite paintings in the living room
It’s message resonates to this day.

ReplyDeleteA beautiful card and sentiment. I have a very dear friend who lost her mother, young and healthy, suddenly two years ago. They were best friends and my friend was pregnant at the time. She was of course devastated and everyone was offering advice, the most common phrase was "you have to move on." And that only made things worse. My thought -- and I said it -- was Fuck moving on, if you can just keep moving. I didn't think it was anything profound, but she regularly tells me how that changed her outlook. Just keep swimming.

I don't really know how to Express or say thank you for the love and help you have shown me and my family.
