I read a couple of the hospice's newsletters. You seem to have found a great place to end your working life. So many good people pulling together. At least that is how it seems to me.
I have seldom gelled so well with an established team YP it has its issues like most workplaces but I have made friends and experienced respect so very quickly after starting there just a year ago
Saw them this morning and also by this morning's post got the Hospice Newsletter - I shall make it my charity for this year. I always choose one on my birthday.
I'm so glad you're working at this stellar hospice even tho there is a long drive there and home again. Am glad you and the staff there are in sync, too.
What a hoot for the real goats and a brilliant fund raiser for the hospice! A pox on our limited retirements funds as I'd surely order one.
the second wave is starting and in a pandemic it is usually the 2nd wave that kills the majority of people. You baby boomers are all going to die of corona-virus and finally the world will be able to make progress when you boomers are all dead
Goats ran amok! :D
ReplyDeleteHalf your total shortfall is great going...hope the goats (and Christmas) do the rest. x
ReplyDeleteI hope they will........I do hope so
DeleteHow wonderful! I think they should arrange to have more stuffed goats made before Christmas! What a fun fundraiser!
ReplyDeleteI’m sure more will be made depending on need
DeleteThey can be bought from the hospice website x
