Who Is Harry?

Wrapped in bubble wrap and posted from the UK, a small package was left by the postman in Mary’s anti bite box by the front door.

The package was addressed to John Gray,  the cottage by the church ...Trelawnyd Wales. The small note inside, carefully written in ink pen said it was from Harry aged 52 1/2 which was Sweetly funny

“ For Your Art Wall”

Inside was a small porcelain hanging with a wonderfully embossed hare design on the front

Quite beautiful

I’ve just hung it on the art wall

Thank you Harry

Thank you so much

  1. What a lovely gift. I know it's not Prince Harry as he is 36 next week - not 52.5.

  2. I love the way Harry addressed the parcel and it got to your letter box; British posties are the best detectives I feel. Love the Hare he looks like a spring Hare to me all joyous and bouncy. It looks great on the wall. What a treasure.

  18. Is it possible it's a play on the word "hare"? As in har-e, Harry. Or perhaps that's what Tom was getting at. It's lovely regardless. I'm going to start telling people I'm 54 and a half. -Jenn

  19. What is an anti bite box?

    1. I think it is a box that the postie puts mail in instead of putting the mail through the door and running the risk of getting bitten by a dog. In the UK the mail is put straight through the door not in a postbox at the boundary.
