I will be in Sheffield
I’m staying in the Leopold Hotel which as I recall used to be offices and before that a school
Rooms are cheap, thanks to Covid.
And as well as rooms I’ve booked a table in a local cafe and a bar and another at a cafe for breakfast.
Each table a meet with friends

ReplyDeleteTo my mind, "Leopold Hotel" is the title of an atmospheric period movie, perhaps revolving around a murder, with at least one decadently jaded young baroness. Enjoy your time in a new atmosphere, preferably murder-less.

ReplyDeleteI went to eat at a restaurant yesterday for the first time in 9 months for my birthday. Sister and I sat on patio table away from overhead fans even tho it was over 100 degrees. Being both Phoenicians, we were ok in the heat. It was exhilarating to dress up and be out and about...I've been in pjs and house dress far too long.
