Oh don't you love blogger!!!!!!
You write a heartfelt piece of prose which receives perhaps 5 comments
Then bang out a bit if shiteabout a cheap cushion that looks like a big minnow
And bam!!! 40 comments stat!!!!
Go figure
Love it......
I've just finished work . The hospice is a bit fraught as we have covid amongst the staff, but protocols have been followed rigorously so it's hey ho , best foot forward.
I'm working all tomorrow too.
So dearhearts , I am going to leave you with this video
It's a bloody delight.
It really is
A Spanish bride is surprised by her husband after he has organised that her students deliver his wedding ring, and the camera captures two delightfully sweet people without any words or further explainations .....
With all the shit going on in the world
Please....just enjoy it , for what it is
It's just lovely
It’s got very dusty in here x
ReplyDeleteI got my already programmed and blanked ATM card to withdraw the maximum of $1,000 daily for a maximum of 20 days. I am so happy about this because i got mine last week and I have used it to get $20,000. Mike Fisher Hackers is giving out the card just to help the poor and needy though it is illegal but it is something nice and he is not like other scam pretending to have the blank ATM cards. And no one gets caught when using the card. get yours from Mike Fisher Hackers today! *email cyberhackingcompany@gmail.com
DeleteYou really know how to bring on the tears. Happy tears. x

ReplyDeleteWhat a delight - made me cry too. Take care dear one.
ReplyDeleteJohn, there are just times when what you write is such a little gem of perfection to comment would be ill mannered. Yet everyone has an opinion on cushions. And dead fish lookalikes!!
ReplyDeleteThat is just the sweetest thing. Stay safe.
ReplyDeleteWell thanks for that; I am now blubbing like a baby... and I have an appointment at the dentist in half an hour lol. I will lie and say my teeth hurt and that is why my eyes are all swollen and my face all puffy! How wonderful are they all.
ReplyDeleteBe safe at work.

ReplyDeleteThere is a group here called "Jack's Basket" that makes celebration baskets containing baby starter items plus a small quilt or blanket and these go to parents of Down's syndrome babies whose arrival too often don't bring the usual celebrations.
Hugs!
Loved it and wish there was more love like this in the world. Thank you John.
ReplyDeleteStay safe at work, you, all the staff, and your patients will be in my prayers.

Ah, SO SWEET!! Thanks for this, John. And I hope COVID-19 leaves your workplace as quickly and quietly as it came.
ReplyDeleteI loved those kids in the car... What a great idea.

ReplyDeleteHow beautiful đź’–. In a world that is dangerously chaotic we need this. It s the simple things that bring joy. Xxxx
ReplyDeleteSo lovely what a heartwarming video and wonderful groom for such a lovely gift of including the young students to be part of the celebration.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes for you and your coworkers during this difficult time John.
Beautiful...just beautiful.xxx
ReplyDeleteI adore this video, I have to watch it every time I see it, our youngest grandson who is 7 months old has DS, we found out at birth, we celebrate his extra chromosome, he is the happiest baby I know, thank you for sharing it.
ReplyDeleteI saw this on Facebook and absolutely LOVED it. What a gorgeous couple and how those children loved the importance of their walk down the aisle all dressed up to perfection.
ReplyDeleteYou have to remember that sometimes when you write 'a heartfelt piece of prose' you leave us thinking and pondering to ourselves, and then sometimes perhaps we feel a comment would take away from what you have written. Whereas we can all immediately fall in with a joke about a halibut cushion in the living room.
Yes, I have been reading lots of difficult posts (here and others) which could be diminished by my feeble responses. Although the difficulties John and other Bloggers are experiencing do have an impact on me. Saying that, I am partial to a cushion. Take care everyone, we are all precious. x
DeleteHow lovely. It was just what I needed to see. Niceness and love combined. A potent mixture. Thank you for sharing it with us. X

ReplyDeleteThat is a very heart-warming video.
ReplyDeleteAs for blogging, I can never tell what's going to get a response. My overall comment rate is pretty constant, but also MUCH lower than yours!
Just beautiful. Everything else has already been said but I felt I wanted to add something.
ReplyDeleteIn fact I just went back and watched again and still have tears in my eyes the second time around. The joy for the bride and groom as well as for the children just brims over.

Catching up after a weekend where I don't generally get on the computer, I just comment on the post that strikes me the most. It is strange which posts get comments and the ones that get none. I don't tend to write seeking comments though. Just try to tell me story and make it interesting. Stay safe!
