Thank you to the Going Gently readers who have supported my hospice by buying one of the new famous Goat tee shirts celebrating our town's new phenomenon of " Goats in the streets!!"
Some people have asked if they can get these tee shirts from overseas and so I rang the hospice PR lass today who said yes the tee shirts will be shipped worldwide!

ReplyDeleteHospices should not have to raise funds through selling T-shirts, raffles, sponsored walks or charity shop sales. They should be within the embrace of the NHS. That being said, it's great that the T-shirt idea has raised over £26,000. Brilliant!

ReplyDeleteFantastic that £20,000 has been raised from t-shirt sales. And I see they're hoping to raise £1 million from the forthcoming Recovery Fund. But I was sorry to read that thieves raided the hospice donation centre. How callous and cynical is that?
ReplyDeleteI'm getting very muddled and yesterday I picked up a dog bowl from the sitting room floor,opened the woodburner door and was just about to throw it in when I realised what I was doing.Luckily it wouldn't have been too bad as the bowl was stainless steel.I keep leaving taps running and I think if this continues when I'm allowed out I won't dare.Even last night joining in with the Thank you to The NHS and Key workers I was quite disoriented x
