  7. Am standing here in my kitchen making pancakes for my adopted kids...feeling lucky to have them and grateful for all the blessings in my life. I count you among them...living across the pond and feeling grateful I happened upon your blog so many years ago. I hope the New Year will bring you many good things!!! Mary in Colorado

  9. I'm unsurprised that you make a convincing Father Christmas...if one who looks a little desperate for a drink or two.

  15. 15 minutes until Christmas,here in Florida USA
    Then the cats and I are off to bed...outside of my lanai are deer and a raccoon family and a little possum...it's like living in some version of a Disney movie.
    Happy Holidays to you John and all of the rest of the lovely people who post here ....Merry Christmas!

    What a great bunch of excellent nurses work at your hospice! You are all slightly woppy-jawed (that means "crooked" in Southern) in the photo.

    It's been Christmas for 15 minutes here on the East coast of the USA.

    Hugs!

    The very essence of Christmas in one photo! My daughter and son in law working as usual at Christmas as more cogs in the NHS. Ding ding merrily on high everyone. God bless us all everyone.

    Merry Christmas one and all!♥ Blessings to you Santa John!

    BY WILLIAM BLAKE
    Little Lamb who made thee
    Dost thou know who made thee
    Gave thee life & bid thee feed.
    By the stream & o'er the mead;
    Gave thee clothing of delight,
    Softest clothing wooly bright;
    Gave thee such a tender voice,
    Making all the vales rejoice!
    Little Lamb who made thee
    Dost thou know who made thee

    Little Lamb I'll tell thee,
    Little Lamb I'll tell thee!
    He is called by thy name,
    For he calls himself a Lamb:
    He is meek & he is mild,
    He became a little child:
    I a child & thou a lamb,
    We are called by his name.
    Little Lamb God bless thee.
    Little Lamb God bless thee.
