I might be mad but I have provisionally agreed to give a foster home to a three year old diva
I know things are busy for me ( I got home after nine pm tonight after a day which Could rival Intensive Care and which had my feet sore and my head spinning) but I think there is room enough for Dotty

Oh, she's gorgeous. I am more than a little envious.
ReplyDeleteOh she is divine,I hope Winnie will take her in hand.
ReplyDeleteSo sweet! I'm sure she will fit right in.
ReplyDeleteYou make hard work for yourself.
ReplyDeleteI've looked after four ... no harder than two
DeleteYou know that with your cats
I was thinking of when you're not there it might do something madly unexpected like eat the washing machine
DeleteOh there will be some fucking drama
DeleteThere always is
On that's so kind of you John.Dogs rely on us and whatever is going on in our lives it's wonderful to be able to help another little soul in need.I'm hoping to be able to take one more.Still awaiting my house check for a Romanian x
ReplyDeleteWhat a cutie! She will be such a lovely addition to your furry family as love makes hearts grow larger (in a good, non-cardiac way!). Her eyes are so beseeching and are in need of your loving care. Hope it all works out well.
ReplyDeleteHugs!
Well she has certainly found the right home then hasn't she - good luck.
ReplyDeleteRight on John.
ReplyDeletepretty girl! what do winnie and mary have to say about all this?
ReplyDeleteWhen you say a foster home? Do you get first dibbs if someone comes along to adopt her? I hope she settles in well with your gang. Winnie will have someone to teach cushion throwing to now!!
ReplyDeleteHehehe Marksgran... I was thinking the same thing... cushions everywhere times 2!!
DeleteJo in Auckland
Maybe Winnie could toss them off the sofa and Dotty could be trained to put them back on 😄🤣
DeleteFoster-Ha, you know you will fall in love and keep her. ;)
ReplyDeleteExpecting a major Blanche Dubois fit from Winnie!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cutie! Be fun to see how they all get along!

Your heart is bigger than the moon. The animals will settle and a touch of baby powder can help with hormones and hissy fits. If you want more info on that let me know. It has always worked with our cats and the Jack Russell and any newbies. Lovely chap you are. Pattypan xx
ReplyDeleteI hope you don't mind me asking Pattypan, but where do you put the baby powder? I've never heard of that before,I think I may need to try that soon x
DeleteSo you are a friend of Dorothy after all. I was beginning to wonder.
ReplyDeleteLOL
DeleteRemembering Winnie's huff when Mary arrived I wonder how long the jealous huff will last this time. Hopefully she will not notice how much younger and toothy Dorothy is.
ReplyDeleteoh wonderful! she is one very lucky girl! double up on your sausage supply!
ReplyDeleteShe’s darling. What do the girls think of her?
ReplyDeleteGive her your ruby slippers in case she ever loses her way home x
ReplyDelete...and pray she doesn't blow like a gale 😁
DeleteShe looks like a sweetie, you will be good for one another
ReplyDeleteShe's a beauty, congratulations! How's Winnie doing with a new diva in the house?
ReplyDeleteLovely! I hope the initial tizzy of introducing a new fur child into the household will settle quickly!
ReplyDeleteShe is absolutely gorgeous...and a perfict fit for a man of your bearing. Best wishes to the both of you. I think she will fit into your lifestyle, in the cottage you come to love.
ReplyDeleteOhhhh .., Dotty needs kisses 💋 on her little wrinkled nose pad! She is adorable!
ReplyDeleteOh l love her, thank you for being there for her.
ReplyDeleteMethinks she may end up as what is known as a 'failed foster' i.e. a little keeper.
Tess x
Wonderful!! We recently named our new Cairn rescue Dorothy; aka "Dottie" Close enough for me...welcome Dotty girl. You've landed butter side up! X
ReplyDeleteShe is a little sweetheart. You, now, have a pack of little lovelies plus Albert.
ReplyDeleteI still think of Mabel. Hugs all around.
Of course you had to agree, she is irresistible!
ReplyDeleteAwwwwww!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beauty! By ''foster'' does that mean temporary home til sh eis adopted? Or is she a permanent fixture, if all goes well? And---dog walker will charge extra, won' t he?
ReplyDeletetypo ''she is''
DeleteAwww, she's beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteIrresistible!
ReplyDeleteOh! More cushion throwing coming up! What fun! Do you get the option of keeping her? Some foster situations exclude that... I do hope she’s a ‘keeper’.
ReplyDeleteOh, lucky her and lucky YOU! - though I note your "PROVISIONALLY agreed". How could anyone on Earth ignore this beauty? We await progress report with enormous interest.
ReplyDeleteShe's gorgeous. Does she know what she's letting herself in for ;)
ReplyDeleteI wonder what Winnie will think being upstaged by a younger model! :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. I hope the girls accept her happily. xx
ReplyDeleteMore mangled cushions when Winnie finds out...
ReplyDeleteOh, she's absolutely gorgeous and one lucky lady!
ReplyDeleteWell, it should give lots of incidents to blog about if nothing else. Fortunate Dotty, but I think you are mad!
ReplyDeleteIt's going to go one of two ways.... Winnie will behave like a Diva or a Mother !
ReplyDeleteAwwwww! I want to kiss her wrinkly snout!
ReplyDeleteWhat a dear dog...I know she would be a keeper at my house! Hope she is at yours!!!
ReplyDeleteWill Winnie accept her?
ReplyDeleteCute as a button! If it works out, think about being Dotty's new Daddy.
ReplyDeleteJust make sure she doesn't try to eat Albert.
You'll be back to four before you know it 😃. She looks lovely. Xx
ReplyDeleteAwww, Dotty! Is there a chance she'll stay with you? I hope Winnie doesn't feel territorial!
ReplyDeleteWhere dogs are concerned, I think there is always room for one more xx
ReplyDeleteWell, I think you know full well what you’re in for. And she can’t come to a more loving home.
ReplyDeleteAww, she looks sweet. Hope she works out for you. I have dogs but most recently have been adopted by cats.
ReplyDeleteWhat is one more? Only a foster you say? Time will tell!
