  7. Glorious weather timed just right. In couple of days it'll be too hot, they're saying. Hope someone was appointed to keep the flies and bees off those cakes, all looking rather vulnerable being so accessible.

  42. Love Cro's comment - I recall it all from childhood days in my Devon village where the WI ladies were awesome and the carnivals/fetes and such were so special. Best bakers are always from small villages - must be in their genes! So happy it was a lovely sunny day for the celebration - know you all had a great time.
