Choir Mudita

I know I have posted a version of this lullaby before but this video honestly sounds like my choir did tonight albeit quieter as we had 30 singing
It was a night where most ( but not all) went so right and as we sang I caught the eye of one of the lady tenors who like me had started to tear up at the power of it all, and we smiled oh so  gently at each other
More Mudita
A Choir's Mudita!

Ps I'm not being so saccharine  here...as my nerves were somewhat shattered during practice by one of my fellow bases who never fucking stops chattering. At one moment I turned to my friend Peter who is a retired gentleman farmer and said " I'm going to smack him one if he doesn't stop, yacking"
Peter smiled and nodded " You are a leader not a follower " he whispered

  3. Beautiful! Today my husband shocked me by giving all his change to a homeless man. Usually, and especially since his head injury, he is gruff and not so empathetic, but today...wow.

  6. The choir just took me away to another place amazing what music and do for our souls, glad that you had a Mudita moment with the lady tenor.

Strange but at this moment I though that a Leader not a Follower would make a good title for a chapter in a book.

  12. I needed something calming this morning. Thank you. I used to sing before I developed a jaw problem, and I really miss it. Come to think of it, the only thing I miss about my ex-husband is his singing voice, but I do know that he now sings in a male-voice-choir, and that's good. The world needs music makers.

  13. Oh to sing! So nice to get into your head and heart with the music, which makes the blathering bass even more frustrating.
